About the Opportunity
The Company’s marketing department is seeking a highly motivated Graphic Designer with strong graphic design skills. Your creative streak will bring fresh ideas to what we do here at TEC.
You will use your creative abilities to support the company’s divisional and corporate marketing requirements. You also have a desire to learn the sales and marketing processes related to each product and service line within the company.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment that demands a high degree of flexibility and the willingness to take ownership of projects. Adaptation to changing conditions including redefinition of role may be required.
Responsibilities include:
* Efficient execution of print and online design projects
* Development of collateral and sales materials such as ads, mailers, newsletters, etc.
* Creation of presentations
* Contribute to campaign development process
Qualifications
* Post secondary degree or diploma in graphic design, marketing or related field
* Minimum 2 – 3 years in a related industry position
* Knowledge of turnkey design/print/fulfillment process
* Excellence in Layout, graphics concepts and database management
* Experience designing for print and web
* Expert working knowledge of HTML, MacroMedia Dreamweaver, Flash, and Contribute, and related multimedia design applications, QuarkXpress, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat
* Web programming in ASP an asset
* Strong skill set in MS Office
* Ability to work with internal/external clients
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple deliverables and deadlines; ability to work with little supervision
* Self-motivated, and adaptable to changing environment/role
