Zannel, Inc. is a well financed startup funded by two of the largest VCs. We're located on Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park, CA. We are currently in stealth mode developing a next-generation multimodal social entertainment platform that will revolutionize how content is experienced across connected devices. Founded by the team that built the largest mobile media platform in the US, we are in the process of assembling the core team to build out and launch our system. We are looking for extremely talented people who love what they do and are committed to developing ground-breaking technology.
In charge of overall look n’ feel design of the Zannel web portal. Responsible for managing a junior designer.
Qualifications:
* MUST have an online portfolio of websites to show.
* 5+ years in graphic design and 3+ years in web design.
* 3+ years experience as a lead artist / art director / or creative director.
* 1+ years experience leading a team.
* Strong conceptualization skills with illustrations, storyboards, etc.
* Excels at designing consumer oriented or entertainment oriented web portals.
* Strong at graphic design, illustration, and/or animation.
* Ability to work under pressure in a startup environment.
* General knowledge of the online community and social networking space
* Good sense of humor!
BONUS POINTS:
* Experience with Macromedia tools and designing interactive Flash products.
* Experience working on entertainment applications and games.
* Experience working on small form factor devices such as mobile phones / PDA.
* Pixel Art skills
